Copper Flat Bar – UK Suppliers & Stockholders
Manufacturing a comprehensive range of flat bar allows us to fulfill any order requirement quickly
Copper Flat Bar
At our Cannock works, ILF Products manufactures and stocks C101 copper flat bar for industries from electrical engineering to construction. The tables below list the sizes and thicknesses we currently hold in stock, so you can check availability at a glance.
Also, as a UK copper manufacturer we can produce custom flat bars to suit any requirement. Copper flat bar is most commonly specified for busbars and other electrical applications. Call us on 01543 226 816 to discuss your material requirements.
What is a copper flat bar?
Copper flat bar is a solid rectangular section supplied in straight lengths, and it is the material most commonly specified for busbars and other electrical conductors. C101 copper offers good formability, particularly with cold working techniques. Electric arc methods such as flux-cored arc welding give excellent results, and so does soldering.
Copper strip is also naturally hygienic. Because it is an antibacterial material, it slows and kills pathogens including E. coli (Escherichia coli O157), MRSA, legionella, and the flu and cold viruses. It repels slugs as well.

Why Choose Us as Your Copper Bar Supplier?
Engineers specify copper across many industries because it conducts electricity superbly, handles heat well and resists corrosion. As established copper bar stockists in the UK, ILF Products supplies flat bar you can rely on, and here is why it is a good choice for your next project:
2
Superior Conductivity
Copper is famous for how well it conducts electricity. As a result, copper flat bar is the natural choice for electrical circuits, grounding systems and busbar applications.
1
Durability and Longevity
Copper resists corrosion well. It is also highly durable, so our copper flat bars give a long service life even in the harshest operating environments.
3
Versatility
Engineers specify flat bar in plumbing and heat exchangers, in electrical engineering and in building design. So one material serves all four fields, in one stock section.
4
Machinability
Our copper flat bars cut, shape and join with ease. That gives you more options in manufacturing and fabrication, on busbar assemblies and bespoke components alike.
