What aluminium grades are available?

Our wider aluminium range includes numerous grades alongside our dedicated 5083 and 7020 products. These include 6061-T6, 6082-T6 and 7075, with additional aluminium specifications available depending on your requirements.

What is the difference between 6061-T6 and 6082-T6?

Both are versatile 6000-series aluminium alloys. 6061-T6 offers a strong balance of strength, corrosion resistance and machinability, while 6082-T6 generally provides greater structural strength and is widely used for more highly stressed applications.

What is 7075 aluminium used for?

7075 is a high-strength aluminium alloy commonly selected for demanding engineering applications where strength, fatigue resistance and low weight are important.

Can ILF cut or machine aluminium to my requirements?
