Aluminium Products & Alloys for UK Industry
A comprehensive range of aluminium alloys, bars, tubes, sheet, plate and specialist products for engineering and manufacturing applications.
Aluminium Products & Alloys
Beyond the 5083 and 7020 ranges, ILF Products stocks and supplies other aluminium products and alloy grades from Cannock, Staffordshire. Bar, tube, sheet and plate are held alongside other sections, in metric and imperial sizes. As a result, we support customers across engineering, transport, construction, aerospace, automotive and general manufacturing.
Each aluminium alloy offers a different balance of strength, weight, corrosion resistance, machinability and formability. Some customers already have a specified grade. Others need to source a particular product, and our team can help with availability and supply requirements either way.
Specialist Aluminium Products
1
6061-T6 Drawn Tubing
A versatile aluminium-magnesium-silicon alloy, 6061-T6 combines good strength with corrosion resistance, formability and machinability. That balance suits it to drawn tubing applications.
2
6082-T6 Aluminium
A high-strength structural alloy from the 6000 series, 6082-T6 offers excellent corrosion resistance. In addition, it machines and welds well, so it suits more highly stressed fabricated and machined components.
3
7075 Aluminium
Alloyed primarily with zinc, magnesium and copper, 7075 is a high-strength aluminium grade selected for demanding engineering applications.
Aluminium Grades Available
| Aluminium Grade | Typical Characteristics |
|---|---|
| 6061-T6 | Versatile structural alloy offering strength, machinability and corrosion resistance |
| 6063 | Common extrusion alloy with good corrosion resistance and surface finish |
| 6082-T6 | Strong structural 6000-series alloy with excellent corrosion resistance |
| 7075 | High-strength alloy suited to demanding engineering applications |
